We did it!!

After 21 hours of flying and 18 hours of layovers we're finally here!! Fun fact: the address on the hostel is NOT the address given on AirBnB... But we figured it out and our hostel is everything we need it to be with firm bunk beds, velvety sheets and nice people. Our roomie is 45 year old Gerard. He's Polish but moved to England a couple years ago and is having a ball practicing his English on us. After dropping our bags we went straight for Thai massages. Thai massages are funny. I looked over at Ryan as this small woman was just standing on him, hands on her hips, no biggie, just standing and we pay for it. Made me giggle. Also, massage pajamas are awesome. 


We accidentally "napped" for the rest of the day... Woke up at midnight, went for a walk for some food and found a great 24 hour supermarket/restaurant. They even have mousse for curly hair!!!! I thought that would be impossible given that not too many Asians deal with curls... It may just be in Bangkok but I'm thankful for the relief from my fro. 


Sidenote: The power line situation is intense.

    Beth, I love you guys! I am keeping up with your travels! Don't know if Ryan told you but we're selling everything and traveling the states in an rv next month. So, right behind you, metaphorically! Though you are experiencing more culture immersion than we will....we'll have a toddler so it sort of evens out! Have a blast and embrace every second! You're doing exactly what everyone SHOULD do! You're officially my favorite couple of all time. Muah!,--your favorite trainer.
